Job Ready IL is a free online training program. Job Ready IL is for anyone who lives in Illinois. It can help you get ready for, find, and keep a job you like.

Job Ready IL is approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) as a Qualifying Work Program for the SNAP Work Requirement.
Who can use Job Ready IL?
Anyone can use Job Ready IL for free.
Job Ready IL is most useful to people in Illinois who use a Link Card (SNAP). For more info, check out: Keeping your SNAP.
Why are there two versions of the Job Ready IL training program?
Job Ready IL offers two versions. These two versions are both great, but use different formats. These two versions test which one people (like you) prefer.
You are sent to one of these versions based on your zip code. This is because one version is smaller than the other. It cannot serve as many people as the other one can.
Zip codes let us send the correct number of people to each version.
If you clicked the wrong button and registered for the “wrong” version, that’s okay! Please continue to use this same version. Moving between versions can affect your work hours. This is because work hours do not transfer between versions.

Who made Job Ready IL?
Job Ready IL is a collaborative project run by the Chicagoland Workforce Funder Alliance, Origami Works Foundation, and The Innovation Nexus under supervision of the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development.
This program is approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) as a Qualifying Work Program for the SNAP Work Requirement.
Training content within the Job Ready IL platform comes from a variety of partner organizations. These organizations are credited where applicable within the training content itself.
